Hiring: Technical Trainer

The Technical Trainer role in Yardstick is responsible in building and enhancing the technical capability of both internal aftersales staff and external partners. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all field technicians are fully equip of technical knowledge related to installation, repairs and maintenance of the products. The ideal candidate must have strong understanding of technical matters for both theoretical and practical application.

Work Location: San Juan, Manila

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts technical training programs for Standard Supply Studios in installation,
    repair and maintenance of the machines for internal and external technicians to
    ensure excellent aftersales service.
  • Set up training programs and evaluates effectiveness of the programs through
    assessment results and observations. Also provides recommendation of
    intervention of actions plans.
  • Always seek innovative method in the implementation of the training programs
    through various platforms
  • Prepare Training materials and handouts for theoretical presentation.
  • Coordinates new product machine line up with supplier for all related technical
    matter concerns.
  • Support to manage the training cost and ensures the efficient use of company
    resources.
  • Support to Set up training facilities for effective training results.
  • Report Training results activities.

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Support escalated customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and
    satisfactory resolution.
  • Support to maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their
    specific needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers, both
    remotely and on-site when required.

Training and Knowledge Management

  • Conduct regular training sessions for the aftersales service team to enhance their
    technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new coffee equipment models, and emerging
    technologies.
  • Keep the team informed about changes in product features, warranty policies, and
    service procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Engineering Course) or
    equivalent work experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of coffee equipment and related industry standards.
  • With initiative to support problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact
    effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other
    relevant tools like Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for on-site support or training.
