Hiring: Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician role at Yardstick installs, maintains, and repairs coffee machines while ensuring top performance through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. The role provides onsite and remote customer support, trains junior technicians, manages service tools and parts, and upholds company standards to deliver efficient, high-quality service.

Responsibilities:
- Lead daily huddles with the team to align on tasks, priorities, and challenges.
- Manage all demo, setup, and installation of coffee machines for clients.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to improve team capabilities.
- Oversee on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service coffee machines efficiently.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables for efficient service operations.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits.
- Offer recommendations and briefings on repairs, diagnostics, and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator regarding work schedules and service quotations.
- Monitor and analyze recurring machine issues to recommend long-term solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers remotely when necessary.
- Facilitate parts and hardware repairs as indicated in service orders.
- Complete detailed service reports accurately and promptly.
- Document processes through Tarkie task reports for status monitoring.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service.
- Work collaboratively with the team, meet deadlines, and maintain punctuality.
- Ensure proper handling and care of company assets and facilities.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Strictly adhere to company policies, employee code of conduct, safety, hygiene, and quality management standards.
- Perform other necessary tasks as required to support company objectives.
Ideal Candidates:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering major in Electronics, Electrical or any similar role
- Fresh graduate or minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in afersales, customer support or coordination roles
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with CRM software and client management practices.
- Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint)
