Hiring: Cafe Supervisor
Job Summary:
We’re hiring a Café Supervisor to support daily operations at Yardstick. You’ll work closely with the Café Manager to lead the team on the floor, ensure smooth service during shifts, and keep both staff and guests happy. Location(s): Makati, San Juan, BGC, Quezon City
Salary: PHP 20,000-24,000 per month
Responsibilities:
- Sales/Profitability
- Generates the highest sales and profitability of the store vs budget.
- Conforms to standards
- Manages the daily operations of the Café
- Monitors quality of Products, Service of the team, Cleanliness of the store and the overall hospitality of the staff (QSCH of the store)
- Table touch with customers from time to time to get their feedback on food and drinks ordered and immediately correct any concerns.
- Ensures that customers are satisfied with their Yardstick experience.
- Strictly complies with all company policies, procedures, employee code of conduct, safety, health & environment programs, quality management system, etc.
- Company Assets/Facilities/Supplies
- Ensures that cleanliness is maintained in all stations at all times
- Make sure that change fund, petty cash, and revolving fund assigned in the store are securely kept and that all sales for the day are deposited accordingly
- Ensures and monitors that store supplies are at optimum level of inventory
- Government Requirements
- Ensures that all necessary gov’t. requirements of the store are complete, updated and properly displayed in a conspicuous place and sales books are updated on a daily basis.
- Safety and Security
- Conducts regular inspection of eqpt., facilities and ensure safety and security at all times of customers and employees. ex. Fire extinguishers, locks & keys, first aid cabinet, etc.
- Manpower and Productivity
- Monitors and implements the weekly store schedule consistently and effectively
- Attain the productivity (SPMH) target assigned based on budget.
- Supervisory experience is ideal
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer-literate (MS Office proficient: Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Proactive and create a positive experience for everyone
