Hiring: Cafe Manager
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Café Manager to lead daily operations at Yardstick. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the café’s systems, guiding the team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly—from service flow to shift execution. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is committed to building a strong, service-driven team.
Location(s): Makati, San Juan, BGC, Quezon City
Salary: PHP 25,000-27,000 per month
Responsibilities:
- Sales/Profitability
- Generate the highest sales and profitability of the store vs budget.
- Undertakes various sales generation initiatives and carry out management functions.
- Finance Mgmt.
- Analyses financial results and implements specific measurable actions to further improve and/or sustain store profitability
- Conforms to standards
- On top of the daily operations / QSCH of the store
- Conducts spot quality audits to ensure conformance of standards
- Strictly complies with all company policies, procedures, employee code of conduct, safety, health & environment programs, quality management system, etc.
- Company Assets/Facilities/Supplies
- Ensures proper maintenance & accountability of all equipment, facilities and immediately take necessary action on equipment / facilities needed repairs.
- Makes sure that change fund, petty cash fund, & revolving fund assigned to the store are securely kept and that all sales for the day are deposited accordingly.
- Government Requirements
- Ensures that all necessary gov’t requirements of the store are complete, updated and properly displayed in a conspicuous place and sales books are updated on a daily basis.
- Safety and Security
- Conducts regular inspection of equipment and facilities as well as ensure safety and security at all times. Ex. Fire extinguishers, locks and keys, first aid cabinet, etc.
- Manpower and Productivity
- Review, recommends and implements ideal and effective manpower utilization for efficiency and profitability.
- Monitors people productivity thru Sales per manhour (SPMH) parameter
- Recommends personnel movement as needed.
- In charge of his/her people development
- Management experience is ideal
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar capacity
- Computer-literate (Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Proactive and create a positive experience for everyone
