Hiring: Brand & Channel Development Associate (Emerging Brands & Sales Support)

The Brand & Channel Development Associate (Emerging Brands & Sales Support) role in Yardstick supports the growth of selected emerging brands while also assisting in the sales execution of core equipment and accessories. The role focuses on product placement, assisted sales, channel support, and market execution across direct sales, partners, and alternative channels.

Responsibilities:

Brand Growth & Placements

  • Support the growth and visibility of assigned emerging brands
  • Drive product exposure through curated placements, demos, events, and activations
  • Identify suitable locations for product placement, including cafés, lifestyle stores,
    hospitality venues, and specialty retailers
  • Ensure consistent product presentation and basic brand standards across placements

Channel & Partnership Development

  • Identify and support consignees, resellers, and strategic partners
  • Assist in proposing and coordinating consignment or reseller arrangements with
    management
  • Support partners with product knowledge, demos, and merchandising guidance
  • Monitor sell-through and performance of placed or consigned products

Sales & Commercial Support (Core and Emerging Brands)

  • Support direct sales activities, including handling inquiries, demos, and follow-ups
  • Assist in cross-selling and upselling of accessories and complementary products
  • Join client meetings, presentations, and demos for both emerging and
    main brands
  • Support deal execution alongside the sales team

Market & Community Engagement

  • Participate in industry events, pop-ups, trade shows, and partner activations
  • Seek opportunities within coffee, design, and hospitality communities to introduce
    products
  • Represent the company professionally in external engagements

Product Knowledge & Feedback

  • Build strong working knowledge of product features, pricing, and positioning
  • Track competitor activity and market alternatives
  • Gather customer and partner feedback and relay insights to sales and management

Reporting & Accountability

  • Track leads, placements, demos, and assisted sales in CRM
  • Contribute to weekly scorecards covering outreach, placements, and commercial
    activity
  • Provide regular updates on brand traction, channel performance, and observations

Success Metrics (Indicative)

  • Assisted sales contribution across emerging and core brands
  • Number and quality of active product placements or consignment points
  • Sell-through performance of placed or consigned products
  • Demos, activations, and partner engagements completed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in sales, brand, business development, or partnerships.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable engaging both commercial and lifestyle/design partners.
  • Passion for specialty coffee, equipment, or premium consumer goods.
