Peru La Piña y El Cedro
This lot hails from two producers - Martin Santos Zurita and Tomas Bueno Medina – whose farms La Piña & El Cedro, occupy 9 collective hectares of prime coffee growing land high in the Peruvian Andes. These cherries are then hand-sorted to ensure no underripe or damaged cherries make it into the fermentation tanks. The coffee is pulped on the same day that it is picked using a mechanical or hand turned pulper, located on the farm itself.
This coffee is selected from the finest lots in the La Union community in the Cajamarca Region.
