Secret Stash 004: Rafael Amaya EF
Our 4th Secret Stash coffee for 2021. Every 2 weeks, we'll be dropping a new Secret Stash coffee for you to brew at home.
This is our second coffee from Rafael Amaya, but this one's a washed - extended fermentation coffee. Produced by Rafael Amaya and his son; this micro-lot was exposed to a long, dry, anaerobic fermentation of 180 hours and dried on raised beds to ideal moisture content. It's 100% Caturra and originated in Brazil. Amaya’s farm is located in Timana, Huila, not far from where some of the best coffees and micro-lots have been produced in Colombia.
FLAVOR NOTES: With this coffee, we taste Molasses, Honey Dew & Ripe Pear. It is best brewed using a the SteepShot, Pour Over or the Varia Brewer.
